Kate Dickinson

Kate has been an antiques dealer in the South of France for more than a decade. Her shop, Dickinson Antiquities, is known for genuine French and English silver plate, and the hire collections grew straight out of it: pieces she knew were too beautiful to sit in a cabinet.

She knows the makers, the patterns and the marks, and she chooses every piece herself.

Some of it took persistence. Proper dessert-sized spoons are nearly impossible to find in France, so Kate sourced English ones to match, which is how the Mixed Heritage collection came to carry the silver of both nations.

The other side of the business is our beautiful antique shop, where we stock sought-after antique silver plate. If you are ever in the south of France, please stop by to say hello!
